“ I saw this restaurant had great reviews, so I had to check it out! For me, I do not enjoy having to order from a QR code due to several reasons- it's difficult to discuss the menu and ask questions and recommendations from a server because they tend to only come by to bring your food, also I do not necessarily agree with paying for my food before it has arrived and been experienced. Many times I have had orders grossly messed up and management made concessions but once you've paid, you are locked in. Anyway, moving on, we placed our orders and a wine bottle order. The server came and set the bottle and two glasses on the table and walked away. We had to open our own bottle and no one checks in you to make sure it was ok?? No service really, just order and eat and leave. I will however say the food was really good. The hummus and pita bread which you have to order separately were amazing! Warm bread, light and delicious. Creamy hummus. Next we had a meat trio of lamb chops, chicken and beef skewers served with rice. The man chops were cooked perfectly as well as the other meats. Rice was cooked great. I do wish their had been an option to add vegetables as a side. It's a fairly small restaurant but we were able to snag a table - I think the last table! Overall, loved the food, but do not expect much service. ”

“ My husband and I dined at Pistachio this weekend and had a lovely meal. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful, with an inviting ambience to the dining room. We shared his Tunisian Braised Lamb Shank (accompanied by a glass of the Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc) and my Iskendar Kebab (accompanied by a Bickford's Ginger Beer). The lamb shank was "fall off the bone" tender with a sauce so savory and delicious, we used the extra pita from my meal to swipe up the last bit of it. Its accompanying rice was delicious on its own and complimented the lamb and sauce beautifully. My kebab was gorgeously plated with a rainbow array of grilled vegetables and a warm, freshly-baked pita longer than the plate itself. Each mouthful of meat was trolled through the plate sauce, carefully arranged on a tear of pita with some grilled vegetable, and enjoyed as a "perfect bite". Our dessert was a cake that was new to us - Tunisian Almond and Coconut Cake. This unassuming-looking cake was served warm on a pool of chocolate hazelnut spread with a dusting of confectioners' sugar. Our first bites made us say "Wow!" Tender and well-balanced with shreds of coconut visible, this little cake is a quiet flavor powerhouse of a dessert - a delightful ending to an excellent meal. Pistachio is a true foodie experience. Enthusiastically recommended! ”

“ It's pleasing to see that Chef Khaled has maintained high standards since moving from Balestier to Wheelock Place. In addition to the usual Middle Eastern dishes, there are many others that are not often found at restaurants here (eg. Fish Singary, maybe in honour of Singapore?), all well executed. The tabouleh salad is very refreshing, although it's a bit too strong for my taste, containing lots of parsley; I prefer the North African version. The good news is you now can have wine with your meal, and can pay by MasterCard/Visa. Service could be more pro-active, as you have to ask for water refills quite often. Thus location used to experience high turnover (a super-thin-pizza place, then a Thai joint). Let's hope Pistachio stays long. The cosmopolitan and affluent tenants of Wheelock Place should help ensure that it's the case! ”

“ Best gyro in Singapore! I've been searching and waiting for a good gyro or shawarma for the past few years, and Yeero Gyro finally delivers. From the same folks behind Pistachio, they just recently opened Yeero Gyro in the same mall on the same floor. I tried the chicken gyro and thoroughly enjoyed a pita full of succulent chunks of chicken, accompanied by lettuce, tomato, onions and lots of tzatziki sauce. The flavor and quality really set this apart from other versions I have had in Singapore. At $12, it's not exactly cheap but given the amount of meat and quality, it's definitely worth the price. There are a few other items such as Greek fries and pizza on the menu, which I will also try. ”

“ Nice spot for Mediterranean food.. its in the middle of a mall so not the best of ambience. Service is a bit spotty. But the food was pretty good overall..I particularly liked the fish and meat platter. The rice accompanying the fish was excellent too. ”
